Housing Perks – discounts when you shop

When you download the app and sign up with your tenancy reference number, you’re ready to start saving! 

You can save on average 5% by paying with vouchers, cashback and discount codes that you get through the app. You can also apply your savings straight to your rent. 

Up to 10 customers can reference the same tenancy reference number, so everyone living in your home - plus friends and family, can use the app in the same way.

If you turn on rent contributions, you pay full price but the saving goes towards your rent.

If you opt for discounts when you buy a voucher, the discount is automatically applied - so it will cost less.

For example, if you buy a £20 voucher which had a 5% offer:

• With rent contribution turned on, this would cost you £20, with £1 going towards your rent.
• With rent contribution turned off, this would cost you £19.

It’s easy to set up and you’re always in control. 

1. Open the Housing Perks app and go to the Rent section in the menu at the bottom of your screen. 
2. Turn on Rent Contributions. 
3. Each time you buy a voucher, the saving will go towards your ‘Next Rent Contribution’ 
4. Rent Contributions are made every Friday and can take up to 10 business days to appear in your rent account.

Turn on rent contributions to unlock higher discounts for your first 3 voucher purchases.

Thanks to Housing Perks, you can receive 10% off at ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrisons, plus an 6% extra discount on top of the standard discount for all other retailers. 

To qualify, you’ll need to have opted in to rent contributions before buying the vouchers, and this is valid for your first 3 purchases only. 

Don’t forget to check the terms and conditions of each voucher as some can only be used in-store.

You’ll be able to find your tenancy reference number on most letters from us or on your annual rent letter.

Up to 10 people can use the same tenancy number, they’ll need to download the app on their own device and add the reference when prompted.
